Our aim was to make a truly delicious chocolate, an alternative to a traditional milk chocolate – which is suitable for all foodies as it is a Vegan delight. And what a result! Wow! You are first hit with the incredible smell, that of a fresh coconut, and from there you are immersed in the full culinary journey.

Portuguese colonialists introduced cocoa to São Tomé, a tropical island of West Africa in the 1850s, thirty years after they had successfully cultivated Brazilian cocoa in the neighboring island Príncipe.
